Old school

The beginners were sitting on the first row, writing letters and words in the sand. The students on the second row were writing with chalk on small boards and the oldest and most advanced students were writing with ink on paper.
As for the two glass-cases beside the black board, they contain "labels" for the diligent and the disobedient children, white and black accordingly.
